Founded in 2005, Dressed to Kill is one of the longest running active KISS tribute bands in America.   Located in Tulsa, Oklahoma – DTK has been a featured headline performer at many legendary regional events and venues for nearly 20 years.   Among those classic venues and large public events are Cain’s Ballroom, Tulsa State Fair, Neewollah Festival, Branson House of Rock Theater, Venue Shrine, Ritz Theater, State Theater, Goddard Performing Arts Center, Rocklahoma, Spinozi’s, Shamrock the Rose and various large club venues, private parties and corporate events at nationally known casino resorts such as Hard Rock Tulsa, Osage Tulsa and Downstream Casino in Joplin.   Additionally, Dressed to Kill has been a featured fundraising headliner at large public concert events benefitting iconic charity organizations like Turn Tulsa Pink, A Solider’s Wish and Cancer Sucks.

We have also been featured on KISS’s official KISSonline.com website multiple times, including a recap of a headline performance at a KISS fan expo in Kansas City, where we performed on stage with former KISS lead guitarist Bruce Kulick.

Dressed To Kill features veteran musicians with over a century of combined performing experience not only in DTK but in a variety of regionally and nationally known original music bands (Caroline’s Spine, Tramp, Severmind, Riverside Rebellion) and a huge variety of cover bands including among many others, regional 80’s rock powerhouse Dead Metal Society.   For a longer list of band associations check out the musician bios on our website.

DTK is not a KISS cover band.  We are a KISS tribute band.    There is a significant difference between covering another artist’s music vs recreating an authentic concert experience – complete with live album quality music, accurate staging & costuming and of course bringing beloved characters to life on stage in a way that allows concert goers of all ages to truly buy into the illusion that they are seeing a legendary arena rock band in a more intimate and accessible venue.    Check out our linked videos and you’ll see that we physically look, act and sound like the real deal.   We take pride in delivering a high quality, professionally produced performance not only at the front of the stage but also as low maintenance, sober grownups who are easy to work with for promotors, stage crew, sound engineers and venue management.
